Located along a remote section of Cedar Creek within Sumter
National Forest, the 75' high Blue Hole Falls rushes down a
narrow gap and forms a blue pool at the bottom which gives the
falls it's name. Blue Hole Falls is reached by traveling 0.5
miles along a narrow trail from FS 744C.
To reach Blue Hole Falls from Walhalla, travel west along SC
28 for 6.6 miles and turn left onto Whetstone Road (County Road
S-37-193). Continue along Whetstone Road for about 0.8 miles and

Bridge Road for 0.9 miles and turn left onto the graveled Rich
Mountain Road (FS 744). Continue along Rich Mountain Road for

2.5 miles along Cedar Creek Road to FS 2658 (right side) and
