Pickens County South Carolina Waterfalls

Dropping 80' into Lake Jocassee, Laurel Fork Falls is best
view from the lake. Access to Laurel Fork Falls by foot is
available by traveling 8.1 miles along the difficult terrain of
Foothills Trail.
To reach Laurel Fork Falls by boat, navigate into Laurel Fork
Creek cove where the falls are visible, then find the
crescent-shaped grotto behind the rocker tower.
To reach Foothills Trail, from Pickens, drive north on US 178
for approximately 16.5 miles and turn left onto Laurel Valley
Road (Pickens County S-237), take the gravel road to the right.
Drive 0.5 mile to the Foothills Trail Laurel Valley Access
parking lot on left. Walk up the road to access the Foothills
Trail.
