Buffalo Ridge Trail #1151

Available for hiking, biking, and
horseback riding, the 8.1 mile Buffalo Ridge Trail lies within Mt.
Zirkel Wilderness. Buffalo Ridge Trail climbs steeply almost to the top of
Buffalo Ridge where it offers panoramic view of the Davis Creek drainage,
Stump Park and Davis Peak. Continuing down to Stump Park, Buffalo Ridge
Trail crosses Beaver Creek Trail #1124
and begins the steep climb up Davis Peak. Buffalo Ridge Trail becomes
difficult to follow as it crosses the open saddle just east of the peak.

Buffalo Ridge Trail offers two
access points:
- Travel along CR 6W from Cowdrey to Pearl. Continue past Pearl and
turn left onto CR 6B, also FR 80 and travel west toward Buffalo Park.
Turn left onto FR 682 and continue to the trailhead at the end of this
old logging road.
- Travel along CR 6W from Cowdrey to Pearl. Turn left onto FR 600 and
continue to Big Creek Lakes Campground and go to the far west of the
campground. From Seven Lakes Trailhead, the trail intersects with
Buffalo Ridge Trail.
