White River National Forest
Available for Hiking, and Horseback Riding,
the 5.2 mile Fowler Bench Trail travels over a scrub oak hillside before
beginning it's strenuous climb up the west side of Fowler Peak.
Following the rim above the South Fork of the White River, Fowler Bench
Trail offers great views to the south before ending at
Fowler Creek Trail #2256.
To reach Fowler Bench Trail from Meeker Colorado, travel east along CO
13 for a mile and turn east onto CR 8. Continue along CR 8 for 18 miles
and turn south onto CR 10. Travel 2 miles along CR 10, jog north for
0.25 mile, then east for 10 miles to the trailhead.
