Timp Torne Trail, Rockland County New York Hiking Trails

Located within Bear Mountain State Park, the 6.5 mile Timp Torne Trail begins along US 9W with Ramapo-Dunderberg Trail and travels along the southern slopes of Dunderberg Mountain. Visiting "The Timp", Timp Torne Trail enters Harriman State Park, joins with the Appalachian Trail briefly, then reenters Bear Mountain State Park on West Mountain. After splitting from the AT, Timp Torne Trail then travels back into Harriman State Park.

Bear Mountain State Park is accessible from the Palisades Interstate Parkway or I-87.
